When you sign up for Valurio, we collect basic account information including your name, email address, and profile picture provided by your authentication provider (e.g., Google or Facebook). When you use the Service, we store the data you enter, including project details, expense records, inventory items, mileage logs, and uploaded images.

When you sign in with Google, we request access to the following scopes: email, profile, and openid. When you sign in with Facebook, we request access to your email and public profile (name and profile picture). We do not request access to your contacts, posts, friends list, or any other data beyond what is necessary to create and maintain your account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Valurio service. This includes displaying your data within the application, calculating financial summaries, and generating insights for your business. We may also use your email address to send important service-related notifications.

Information obtained through Google or Facebook sign-in is used exclusively for account authentication and personalisation (displaying your name and profile picture). We do not use this data for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We use Supabase as our backend infrastructure, which provides enterprise-grade security including encrypted data at rest and in transit, regular security audits, and SOC 2 compliance. Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized personnel for support and maintenance purposes only.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We will never sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or business data to third parties for commercial purposes. Your inventory data, financial records, project details, and all other information you entrust to Valurio remains yours. We do not monetize your data in any way beyond providing you the Service.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to operate Valurio, including:

• Google OAuth — for sign-in authentication. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Facebook Login — for sign-in authentication. Governed by Meta's Privacy Policy. Data received from Facebook is used only for authentication and is not shared with any other third party.
• Supabase — for database and cloud infrastructure. We only share the minimum information necessary for these services to function.
• Resend — for transactional email delivery (account confirmation, password reset).

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. You may request data export or deletion at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may export your data or request a copy of all information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.

If you signed in with Google or Facebook and wish to revoke Valurio's access to your account, you can do so at any time through your Google Account settings or Facebook settings under "Apps and Websites."

8. Cookies & Analytics

Valurio uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts. We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics to improve the Service, but this data cannot be used to identify individual users.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
